Salon Libertine West is an interior lifestyle brand set-up by Victoria Hill, now based in Devon, England. We originally launched in London as Salon Libertine London, where Victoria also ran a successful soft-furnishing and interior décor company. We have recently rebranded to reflect our new and permanent home in the glorious Devon countryside. Our passion is bringing the beauty of art into your daily life.

Our Story
Victoria grew up in London and France in a home full of creativity. Her mother worked at Dior and the Victoria & Albert Museum, and passed on her passion for Interiors, History of Art and the Decorative Arts. Following a 15 year corporate career in international marketing, which took Victoria across the globe and a career break due to motherhood, she decided to pursue her life-long love of interiors and making, founding a soft-furnishings and interior décor company. It was during this time that the creative urge to develop her own collection started. Victoria is now solely focussed on Salon Libertine West.

Rooted in the traditions of European decorative arts, our work reinterprets historical ornament through contemporary digital techniques and painterly processes influenced by colourism, impressionism and abstract art. Drawing on the richness of 18th and 19th century surface pattern, English botanical design, and French rococo romance, we create a distinctive visual language that balances decorative abundance with modernity. Across interiors, homewares, accessories and stationery, our collections are inspired to bring artistry, atmosphere, and beauty into everyday living.

We are obsessed with quality and longevity, and ensure both by producing everything in small quantities, making our products either ourselves in our workshop in Devon, or by using small English companies. All our products are produced in the UK, either by ourselves, or by small businesses.
When not working, Victoria is restoring a beautiful historic Grade 2 listed home, gardening and wild swimming.
